Zoftware simply needed great content, copy and a killer GTM strategy. Our competitors were global players, but they didn't pay much attention to the MENA region, and that's exactly the gap where we wanted to start.

Zoftware - Building a software marketplace for the MENA Region.

The Problem

The Middle Eastern software market was fragmented. Businesses mostly discovered tools through referrals or word of mouth, making it hard to compare, trust, or select the right products online.

The reason.

We wanted to change how software decisions were made, to create a transparent, fast, and credible platform where users could explore, compare, and confidently choose what fits their needs.

The Solution

I joined Zoftware when it was just four people and an idea. We built the foundation for a platform that could simplify discovery, comparison, and credibility in one place, while understanding how the MENA audience actually made decisions.

The Execution

• Product Design Strategy- We structured intelligent search categories and intuitive filters so users could find the right software instantly.

• Comparison Capability- We built a clean, fast comparison feature to help users evaluate multiple tools side-by-side — no confusion, just clarity.

• Market Behaviour Shift: Since this was a new model for the region, we introduced incentive programs for startups to list their software and referral bonuses for users, helping the platform grow organically.

• Content & Marketing: We created sharp, localised content and PR-driven campaigns to establish trust. From ranking blogs to an in-platform AI chatbot, we made discovery engaging without complicating the product experience.

Zoftware grew from a small idea into one of the most talked-about software discovery platforms in the MENA region, all built on clarity, credibility, and stong design thinking.
